Process Description
The BSS8 series runs two or more adsorption beds in parallel, alternating between ambient-temperature purification and high-temperature regeneration — one bed supplies gas while the other regenerates — for 24-hour uninterrupted supply, with a service life of over 20 years.
The BSS9 series adds catalytic beds in series ahead of the adsorption beds. One or more catalytic beds operate at high temperature and require no regeneration or replacement, allowing CH₄ to be removed as well; the downstream adsorption beds run in parallel with the same alternating ambient-purification / high-temperature-regeneration cycle.
System Composition
・Gas path: four combination modes — multiple adsorption beds in parallel, multiple getters in parallel, adsorption beds in series with getters, and a single catalytic bed with multiple adsorption beds — plus valves, piping and heat exchangers
・Electrical control: PLC, heating elements, temperature controllers, pressure sensors and touch screen, handling system control, alarms, high-temperature interlock and data logging

Selection Guidance
Choose this series where flow is high and fully automatic, round-the-clock supply is required. For a small point-of-use demand, look at the ambient-temperature POU or heated types instead.
