Cleanroom Stainless Steel Equipment
Cleanroom Stainless Steel Cart
Product Overview
What matters in a cleanroom cart is not load capacity but particle generation. Castors are the largest source — bearing wear and plastic wheels scuffing the floor both shed particles — so clean zones need low-particle castors, with tread hardness chosen to match the flooring.
Types follow the load: flat deck, lipped, anti-vibration, cabinet. High-value fragile items such as wafer carriers, photomask boxes and silicon ingots get dedicated structures that restrain the item rather than simply stacking it.

Detailed Description
Castors decide whether a cart belongs in a clean zone
A cart is one of the few things in a cleanroom that moves continuously, and movement means friction, which means particles. That is the fundamental difference between a cart and fixed equipment. **Match tread to flooring**: on epoxy floors a softer PU tread avoids scoring; on raised floors the wheel diameter must exceed the grating aperture, or the wheel drops in and scrapes debris off the edges. **Bearings must be sealed**: grease in open bearings collects dust and throws it off as the wheel turns, making the cart a mobile contamination source. Sealed bearings do not. **Brakes are a cleanliness item as much as a safety item**: a cart rolling into something produces not only damage but a burst of particles.Selection References
