Product Overview
PP acid-resistant carts move chemicals, cleaning baskets and workpieces around wet-process areas. Welded entirely in PP, they have no metal parts to corrode in acid mist and therefore shed no rust particles into the clean area.
Types follow the load: wafer transfer, anti-vibration, solution, square tube, polygonal, cabinet, drawer, box and sink carts, plus dedicated quartz tube carts and drying racks.

Wet-area carts differ from dry-area carts
In dry areas the concern is particle generation; in wet-process areas it is **corrosion and dripping**. The two amplify each other: corroding metal sheds rust, rust falls into chemical baths and contaminates the process, and spilled chemical on the floor accelerates the next round of corrosion. An all-PP structure removes metal entirely and breaks that loop at source. Castors then have to be specified in acid-resistant materials, which is the part most often missed — a PP body on ordinary nylon bearings seizes within months. **Solution and soaking carts need attention to the centre of gravity**: a container full of liquid sits high and sloshes, so the inertia while moving is far greater than with dry loads.Selection References
