Multi-person Triple-blow Air Shower Tunnel

Product Overview

The triple-blow arrangement adds a row of nozzles in the tunnel ceiling on top of the two side rows, so air arrives from the left, the right and above at the same time. Shoulders, cap brims and the top of the back — the surfaces side jets cover poorly — are handled by the overhead row. Module pitch mixes 1500mm and 1000mm sections so the layout can be matched to the available length. It suits semiconductor and biotech facilities with stricter limits on what personnel may carry in.

Detailed Description

Which blind spots the overhead jets cover

Side jets travel horizontally and work best on the sides of the body, but they graze horizontal surfaces — the tops of shoulders, the crown of a cap, the upper face of a backpack — rather than striking them, so the shear available to strip particles is much lower. Those are exactly the surfaces where particles collect, because settling contamination lands on horizontal faces while people move through non-clean areas. Side blowing alone misses the main landing zone for settled contamination. The overhead nozzles of a triple-blow tunnel drive air vertically onto those horizontal surfaces. The cost is higher airflow and power and a more expensive tunnel, so it is generally reserved for processes where personnel-borne contamination affects yield directly.
