PVC Roller Shutter Air Shower
Product Overview
A PVC roller shutter air shower replaces rigid door leaves with a flexible curtain that rolls vertically. Because the curtain rolls upward, no swing radius is needed in front of or behind the door, so the unit still fits where corridors are narrow and clearance is short.
The shutter opens and closes quickly and can be upgraded to fully automatic infrared sensing, so nobody has to touch a handle — which matters in pharmaceutical and food plants, where hand cleanliness should not be undone by opening a door.

Detailed Description
What it means to have no swing radius
Rigid leaves, single or double, always need a sector of clear space in front of or behind the opening. In retrofits that clearance is frequently the reason an air shower will not fit: the corridor is already narrow, and subtracting the door swing leaves no usable width. A roller shutter takes up only the roll space above the lintel and needs no floor clearance at all. That lets an air shower go into a position previously written off as too small. In exchange, a flexible curtain does not seal as well as a rigid leaf with gasket, so it suits moderate cleanliness requirements; high-grade zones are still better served by rigid doors with seals.Selection References
