Cleanroom Stainless Steel Equipment
Gas Cylinder Cart
Product Overview
A gas cylinder cart handles pressure vessels, and a single tip-over can shear the valve, so everything comes down to restraint and centre of gravity. The standard configuration takes two cylinders; mixed-gas and single-cylinder handling versions are also available.
Cylinders are secured by chain or by a screw-clamp ring rather than held by friction. Large-diameter wheels with a tilt-and-roll geometry let one person move a full cylinder safely. The carbon steel version is powder coated; clean zones take the stainless version.

Detailed Description
Restraint matters more than frame strength
A full cylinder has a high centre of gravity, and once it starts to go over, recovering it by hand is essentially impossible. The restraint is therefore not an accessory; it is the primary safety feature. Chains are cheap and adaptable but need their tension checked — a slack chain restrains nothing. Screw-clamp rings are quick to operate and hold positively, which suits frequent cylinder changes. **Check the route as well**: thresholds, lift car dimensions and floor joints are things nobody considers at purchase, yet they are exactly where trouble occurs in real handling.Selection References
