Cleanroom Stainless Steel Equipment
Custom Stainless Steel Fabrication
Product Overview
Where standard products cannot meet a requirement, custom fabrication does. Every cleanroom has positions where catalogue items will not fit, or loads with an awkward shape; making the item to the measured dimensions is more practical than forcing a standard product to serve.
Common examples include aluminium anti-slip step platforms, cleaning access ladders, LCD glass racks and cabinet-type storage racks. Cutting, folding, welding and polishing are all carried out in-house, working from drawings or from a site survey.

Detailed Description
Three things to settle before ordering custom work
**Load and intended use**: step platforms and ladders involve personnel safety, so the maximum load and the number of users must be stated, not just the dimensions. **Route into the building**: custom items tend to be large, so door widths, corner radii and lift dimensions have to be checked at design stage, with a demountable design where needed. Discovering after welding that the item will not fit through is the most common failure. **Finish and cleanliness class**: stainless steel varies widely in polish level and weld treatment. What serves a Class 100 area is not the same specification as a general area, and the requirement has to be stated explicitly when ordering.Selection References
