Cleanroom Stainless Steel Equipment
Stainless Steel Emergency Shower and Eyewash
Product Overview
An emergency shower and eyewash is the last line of defence in a chemical handling area. This cabinet-type stainless steel design encloses the shower area and collects waste water, preventing chemicals from being splashed around during use while also providing privacy — which matters when clothing has to be removed to rinse.
The shower head is 10-inch SUS 304; the eyewash head is ABS engineering plastic with a 10-inch stainless waste water bowl. Freeze protection can be added on request.

Detailed Description
Pressure and flow must be measured on site
The rated maximum flow of 114 litres per minute applies within the specified pressure range; actual flow depends on the line pressure available on site. **Always measure at handover.** Too little pressure gives insufficient rinsing force; too much drives the stream hard against the eye and causes secondary injury. The design range is 0.2 to 0.8 MPa, and anything outside it calls for a pressure regulating valve. The other common oversight is water quality. The specification calls for clean or filtered water — rinsing eyes with unfiltered industrial water flushes the particles it carries straight onto the cornea.Selection References
