PP Racking, Worktables and Cleaning Baskets

Product Overview

PP polypropylene racking holds wafer components after cleaning in semiconductor work. Everything is seamlessly welded in PP with rubber levelling feet, with no metal parts, so it never rusts and resists corrosion well. Cleaning baskets come in cylindrical, box, frame and ingot forms and go straight into acid tanks without the corrosion a metal basket would suffer, and without carrying metal ions into the cleaning solution to contaminate the work.

Detailed Description

Why cleaning baskets cannot be metal

A metal basket in an acid tank does not merely corrode itself; more seriously, it dissolves metal ions into the cleaning solution. One purpose of semiconductor cleaning is removing metal ions, so a metal basket contaminates while it cleans. A PP basket has neither problem and is acid- and alkali-resistant, light and non-conductive. Its limit is temperature: for hot processes, confirm the bath temperature falls within the working range of PP.
