Product Overview
A cargo air shower tunnel is an air shower built for material rather than people. Tunnel width and shutter height are scaled up so that pallets, trolleys and forklifts pass straight through, with nozzles along both sides sweeping the load surface.
In most cleanrooms the material entrance is the weak point of the whole line: personnel are screened by an air shower, while material is often simply wheeled in. The cargo tunnel closes that gap.

Material is the contamination route most often ignored
Personnel cleaning procedures are usually thorough: gowning, hand washing, air shower and airlock, layer after layer. Yet the material entrance to the same cleanroom is frequently just a door and a trolley. The surface area of incoming material, the dust load on its outer packaging, and the contamination it collects in the warehouse and in transit routinely exceed that of one properly gowned person. Controlling people to Class 100 while leaving material unmanaged is another hole in the wall. The key design point is that the clear passage must suit the handling equipment actually in use — measure the mast height of the forklift and the true outer edge of the pallet, not just the goods themselves.Selection References
