클린룸 안의 컴퓨터는 모순된 존재입니다. 작업에는 필요하지만 케이스 팬 자체가 발진원이자 열원이기 때문입니다. 컴퓨터 스탠드 설계의 핵심은 본체를 통제 가능한 위치에 넣어 방열 기류가 작업 구역으로 곧장 불지 않게 하는 데 있습니다. 현장 조건에 따라 캐비닛형(본체 밀폐 수납), 스탠드형, 개방형으로 나뉩니다. 캐비닛형은 청정 등급이 높은 구역에 적합하고, 개방형은 방열이 좋고 비용이 낮아 등급 요구가 비교적 느슨한 곳에 알맞습니다.

Choosing cabinet or open frame

The **cabinet type** encloses the tower so fan exhaust can be directed or ducted away, which is the approach for high-classification areas. Allow enough internal space for cooling — sealing it too tightly makes the machine throttle or crash from heat. The **open type** cools best and costs least, but the case fan blows straight into the working environment. It suits Class 10000 and above, or non-critical areas. What both share is that **the tower must be off the floor**. A tower standing on the ground draws in the highest particle concentration in the room and blows it back out of the exhaust, effectively running an air cleaner in reverse.
