Salt-Resistant Air Filter
Product Overview
Designed for coastal areas where the air contains high concentrations of salt. Sea-salt particles are polydisperse with sizes ranging from 0.5µm to 30µm and cause metal corrosion that degrades product quality. This filter is specifically engineered for such environments.
Features & Specifications
Efficiency: tested per ASHRAE 52.1-1992, colorimetric efficiency 95%.
Media: two overlapping layers of coarse and dense glass fiber media. Coarser sea-salt particles are captured by the coarse layer, reducing the load on the dense layer and extending service life. The media has excellent water repellency, so captured salt particles do not re-disperse due to moisture.

Sea-salt particles captured by the filter do not re-disperse after deliquescing from moisture.
